Ron Schweitzer
Ronald Schweitzer is a general practitioner with a keen interest in improving people’s “metabolic health” via low carbohydrate nutrition. This includes working with people who have diabetes and pre-diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure (hypertension), fatty liver, de-prescribing medications, and other health issues. Ron is a member of Low Carb Downunder (https://lowcarbdownunder.com.au/) and is on the Scientific Committee of the Australasian Metabolic Health Society, an organisation devoted to improving the metabolic health of people via lifestyle changes.
Existing patients of the clinic who wish to see Ron regarding this should book a 30 minute appointment. New patients to the surgery should book a 45 minute appointment.
Ron is married with two children and four grandchildren and whatever spare time he has he fills with playing tennis.
