Dr Buchanan graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2011. She worked as a junior doctor at the Royal Adelaide Hospital before returning to Melbourne. She has a Master of Public Health and a Diploma of Child Health. Dr Buchanan is interested in all areas of general practice but has a particular interest in mental health, preventative health and small surgical procedures. Outside of medicine, Dr Buchanan enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, skiing and travel.
