Dr Wod al-Khateeb is a highly esteemed GP who has a special interest in cosmetic medicine.  East Bentleigh Medical Group is excited to announce that Dr Wod will be carrying out cosmetic procedures from our rooms one Saturday per month.

Dr Wod has a multifaceted skill set and a wide range of expertise. She has extensive experience in all aspects of general practice and thoroughly enjoys all of them, with particular interest in cosmetic medicine.

Dr Wod has mastered the art of patient care and ensures quality treatment while observing a strictly professional yet comfortable clinical atmosphere.

Starting on Saturday 3rd September, Dr Wod will provide patients:

Anti wrinkle muscle relaxant 

A very fine needle containing a muscle relaxant, is administered into the area. This substance relaxes the selected muscles reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

 Dermal Filler injections

A gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases, or enhance facial contours

 PDO Threads 

A thread lift procedure uses a dissolvable suture to tighten and lift sagging skin.  Less invasive than a surgery, it can achieve a similar result without the scalpel.

PRP 

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a substance that contains proteins that support cell growth and is thought to promote healing when injected.  It is widely believed that injecting PRP into damaged tissues will stimulate the body to grow new, healthy cells.
